My Story

Sitting at my desk in a humdrum corporate job, I’d stare longingly out the window at people passing by with surfboards tucked under their arms, heading toward another perfect Southern California day. I know — it’s not exactly a hardship to grow up where the sun always shines (the Beach Boys were onto something). But something was missing. I craved creativity. Movement. Design. The feeling of building a life that looked and felt intentional.

As a kid, I’d watch Samantha Brown jet-set across the globe and see Andrew Zimmern taste his way through far-flung destinations, thinking, that’s the life I want. After years of wishing for a change, it finally came — disguised as being laid off. Not exactly the plot twist I expected, but it was the push I needed.

​I moved to Spain to teach English, which was meant to be a one-year adventure turning into five. Along the way, I traveled to more than twenty countries and discovered not just a love for exploration, but for creating — designing websites, crafting stories, building brands, and shaping digital spaces that reflect the same sense of curiosity and intention that travel gives me.

This site is where those worlds meet: storytelling, design, and strategy — all rooted in the belief that you can build a life (and a career) that feels expansive. It’s scary to chase what you really want. I know firsthand. But it’s worth it.
